Graphotrade has successfully delivered and commissioned an HXCP HX36B Pro automatic elastic band inserting and fixing machine for notebook, diary and planner covers. Another project has turned a production requirement into a working technological solution.
Elastic closures hold covers closed and complement the finished product. HX36B Pro automates their insertion and reduces the need for manual handling in series production.
The process includes cover feeding, elastic preparation and tensioning, insertion and adhesive fixation. A control screen allows operators to adjust working parameters to the product. Maximum mechanical capacity is up to 25 cycles per minute; actual output depends on materials, format and settings.
The machine has been delivered and put into operation. For Graphotrade, each installation supports a wider goal: helping manufacturers build an appropriate sequence of operations and turn their investment into a working production process.
